You wouldn't expect to find penguins on a beach in Africa but, as you can see from the photos below, there are definitely penguins on the beach at Boulders in the Western Cape! These are African Penguins, but they used to be called Jackass Penguins because they make a sound like a donkey. Eventually somebody discovered that some other species of penguin also sound like donkeys so the name wasn't really appropriate anymore & they were renamed African Penguins. The area is called Boulders because of the huge boulders that are on the beach. You can see them in some of the photos.
